I haven't been well. With only one reaction wheel I move very slowly, and usually stay pointed away from Earth. That's nice for having time with my sweetie, GOES-10, but it doesn't leave much time for me to communicate with you folks by using extra CCSDS packets. Besides, I just don't think you'd find it very interesting to see "still crippled" posts every day.

I did post about COBE going silent a few weeks ago. Did you see that?

I have a MindMap of my own (I think that's what the square brackets around some of the names means). It's fascinating, although I'm not sure what it's for.

So, how are things out in the black, anyway?

They've been better. This having only one reaction wheel is really limiting what I can do.

Of course I know it could be worse. I still have my mind, and I still have my transponder. So I can think and I can communicate.

How about you? How've you been?

I had a pretty bad year financially, but things seem to be getting slightly better again. (Isn't it a shame that everything always seems to revolve around money?)

Your sweetie and her siblings have been awfully busy this summer and fall, and I'm sure the storm disasters would have been even worse without the GOES family to keep us ground-pounders advised. And the hurricane season isn't over yet!

Be strong, FUSE; there are those of us who still appreciate you.
