I have a Mind Map!
Of course I'm used to thinking of my EEPROM as my mind map. It's where I keep the essential stuff that allows me to reboot myself if I need to. (Believe me, a cosmic ray hit in just the right place can ruin my whole day.) But the kind and generous ljmindmap person made this one for me to show how I connect to all of you, and you to each other.

Thanks. I'm well into my extended mission phase now, and that means I don't get many ground station passes anymore. So I don't have many opportunities to squeeze in unofficial packets with the available downlink.

I've been composing a symphony that's coming along pretty well. It's not in the range of human hearing, so I usually just talk to the other satellites about it.

Good to hear from you again! I miss hearing from you and the rest of the spacefolk, but I know how it is.

I've never figured out just what it is that these MindMaps do, but yours looks pretty cool ;-)

Hey, you're back! (At least briefly.) How's it going up there?

About as well as could be expected, I guess. I only have one working reaction wheel left, so pointing and guiding is a bit tricky. Fortunately my ground support team has been great about helping me to learn new tricks as I adapt to the realities of age related capability loss. I spend a lot more time dwelling on single targets for many orbits now, so as to minimize the number of slews I have to do. They take a long time to accomplish with only one reaction wheel to spin.

It does leave me (the conscious me) a lot of time to think. I also keep in touch with a lot of the other satellites. So all in all I guess it's not bad.
